Refreshing, Fun and Inspiring August 6, 2013

By Ellen E. Kennedy

Format:Paperback

There are few things more cheering than a visit with a friend, especially one with an ebullient personality, infectious sense of humor and wise insights. HI FROM THE SKY is rather like a series of chats over tea and cookies with just such a friend. Part memoir, part Bible study and part hilarious retelling of incidents, it's formatted in an unusual way which allows the reader to dip in anywhere and come away with something well worth reading.

Ann Ault is an actress, singer and writer who has performed in commercials, movies and theater across the world. Readers may recognize her signature red mane and wide smile. In HI, the story of her life comes in short vignettes, from her life as an Air Force "brat" to her first audition (her big brother insisted she try out) to her life as an actress, she is unsparing of herself and generous to others.

Don't miss HI FROM THE SKY. It's refreshing, fun and inspiring.

Loved it! July 28, 2013

By Katherin E. FitzPatrick

Format:Paperback

Ann Ault brings home very well the concept that real Christianity is indeed very supernatural! I so enjoyed her personal experiences I call "Ann's Odysseys," that walk out these principles through her real life moments with God. I enjoyed her book as a devotional, digested in rich bits and pieces here and there...you will too!--Katherin B. FitzPatrick, Author

Road to Happiness July 12, 2013

I read Ann Ault's book, "Hi from the Sky: On the Road to Happily Ever After!" I was impressed by the contrasts of her sky-high successes and her dark road lows. In the 1960's she naively dabbled in the Occult, resulting in conjured demons and wicked ouija board messages. She described the "icy" feeling as the evil spirit oppressed her. But God had other plans for her. In a living room in 1974 she read the Bible and "knew" that Jesus was her Lord and Savior. She burned her books of astrology and was totally delivered. By 1978 she was witnessing about Christ in Russia, in 1979 went on mission trip to China with Pat Roberson, featured on the 700 club in 1980, and went on to even more commercial successes as a singer and actress. Ann's stories reminded me of the Mighty God that we serve and the happiness that He wants for our lives!

Like talking with wise and insightful friend April 29, 2013

Ann's writing is much like hearing snatches of life lessons and memories of a dear friend. She's had many experiences far beyond what she or we could ever imagine, but her sharing opens your heart to look for God's ways in your own. Not all her experiences have been happy, many brought heart break, but through them all she's been able to see the good much like Joseph of the Bible: what others may have meant for ill, God used for good to bring life to thousands. Her joyful outlook and tender heart draw you in and God's wisdom comes through in lessons that speak to everyday situations we all face. I gave it to a friend of mine who had been going through some very tough times and in just the first few pages she was encouraged and uplifted enough to be telling other friends they needed to get it.

Dearest Ann, Where can I begin!  We are SO grateful to God for you and all you do in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Thank you so much for sending us an autographed copy of your God-ordained book.  Ann, I read it and get such joy out of your amazing life.  Truly you are a light and salt in this dry and dark land.  Your honesty makes all come to life.  What an encouragement you are to me.  Jesus is just written into every story filled with His life-giving and living Word.  I just love taking a break and reading a couple of stories at a time.  I pray that God will continue to bless you in every area of your life and that you may witness a huge multitude of fruit from your labors.  Babette and Kenji K.

I love your book, "Hi From the Sky: On the Road to Happily Ever After."  I haven't finished it yet, but it is very moving and encouraging. Patti P

Dearest Annie:  Thank  you so much for the beautiful and energetic book! I can "hear you" on every page, it's so YOU!  It's absolutely rich with your distinct voice. Not quite as nice as a personal visit but real close! Love, Diana J.

Your book is so AWESOME! You are going to bless so many people!

Thank you for the book. I’m finding a lot to underline so far. And, just to let you know, I took the book written by a special friend with me to read at the doctor's office today -- something about "Happily Ever After."

Love you. Ginny H.

Ann, it was so wonderful to meet you and I truly love love your book! It makes me want to be a better person every day!

Thanks again, S. Sweeney

Dear Beautiful, Wonderful Ann,

I went to the mailbox after a week out and your book and Cd's were there!

I was happy to get them, but just thought "I will get to them by Friday"... But then, I did the precursory "skim"...well...that was over 40 minutes ago and have not put it down...I JUST now read of the "divine sleeper" for Agnes and smiled stopping long enough to ask God to bless you and favor you financially with your work, and then message you that I am THRILLED to be reading this. It is very encouraging, especially where I am right now...in a waiting phase of sorts.

I appreciated the "Who Do I Think I Am..." aspect of your opening. I have struggled with that for too long!

I am a child of the King...that's who!!

Bless You,

Now...back to page 43...

Love,

Kat

I have enjoyed reading your book thus far and feel that God intended for me to pick it up again today to continue reading.  I happened to open right up to where you quoted Kay Arthur about how we handle disappointment, which is something I needed to read since I have faced some recent disappointments.  I then proceeded to flip back to sections where you wrote about forgiveness and trusting God is leading the way even when I don't have a clue where I'm going, which is a great reflection of my life the past few years.  It's amazing to watch God work in my life and place certain people in my path. [She continues to talk about her life journey]  So continue to follow God with all your heart and I'm thankful He inspired you to write this book to help remind me that many others deal with struggles similar to mine and He will continue to be a Guide if we're willing to trust and take a leap of faith!
